White River Cabins, RV Sites, and Guided Fishing in Cotter, Arkansas
Ember Shoals sits on the bank of the White River at 740 Denton Ferry Road in Cotter, Arkansas. Just below Bull Shoals Dam, this stretch of the White River is recognized as one of the premier trout fisheries in North America. Cotter has carried the name “Trout Capital, U.S.A.” for generations, and for good reason. Cold, clear water flows year-round from the dam, producing trophy-size rainbow and brown trout in every season.
We built Ember Shoals for the people who come here to fish. And for the ones who come for everything else the river offers.
“We’re building Ember Shoals to preserve a way of being outdoors that feels increasingly rare. A place that respects the river, values patience, and puts care over spectacle. Not to improve what already works—but to keep it well kept, for the people who come after us.”

Guided Fishing on the White River
Ember Shoals works with a small group of trusted White River guides.
Our guided fishing service is built as a partnership—not a volume play. We collaborate with professional guides who care about guest experience, consistency, and the long-term health of the river.
