RV Sites

Check-in begins at 1:00 PM. Early check-in is available for $25, subject to site availability. Please contact us in advance to request early check-in — we cannot guarantee it without prior arrangement.

Cabins

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM. Early check-in is available for $35, subject to cabin availability and housekeeping schedule. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to request early check-in.

Check-Out Times

RV Sites

Check-out is at 12:00 noon. Late check-out is available for $20 and must be requested at the front desk no later than 8:00 AM on your departure date. Requests made after 8:00 AM cannot be guaranteed.

Guests who depart after 12:00 noon without prior approval will be charged a $50 late departure fee.

Cabins

Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-out is available for $20 and must be requested at the front desk no later than 8:00 AM on your departure date. Requests made after 8:00 AM cannot be guaranteed.

Guests who depart after 11:00 AM without prior approval will be charged a $50 late departure fee.

Arrival & Check-In Process

Upon arrival, please check in at the main office at 740 Denton Ferry Rd, Cotter, Arkansas 72626. A team member will confirm your site or cabin assignment, review property guidelines, collect any remaining balance due, and get you settled in.

After-Hours Arrivals

Our office hours are:

• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday

• 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Saturday

If you expect to arrive after office hours, please contact us in advance. After-hours arrival instructions, including site or cabin access, will be provided at the time of booking.

Guests who arrive after hours are required to check in at the main office the following morning by 10:00 AM to complete any remaining paperwork and receive a property orientation. This check-in is a required step, not optional. Our team will be happy to point you toward the fly shop, confirm your guide schedule, and make sure you have everything you need for your stay.

If you plan to be on the water early, we can complete your paperwork the evening before upon request — just let us know.

Vehicles & Trailers

General Parking

Each site or cabin is allocated one parking space for the primary vehicle. Additional vehicles must be parked in the designated overflow lot. Please do not park in unoccupied sites or obstruct roadways within the property loop.

Boat Trailers

Guests arriving with a personal boat trailer should park in the designated trailer parking area, as shown on the property map provided at check-in. Trailers may not be parked in the main RV loop, adjacent to dumpsters, or in any location where they could obstruct passing vehicles.

RV Requirements

To maintain the quality and safety of our property, the following requirements apply to all RV guests prior to arrival.

For Any Length of Stay:

• RV Age. Rigs must be no older than 10 years old. We cannot accommodate older units.

For Monthly Stays:

• Proof of Insurance. Current RV insurance documentation must be emailed to info@embershoals.com prior to arrival. Guests who have not submitted proof of insurance will not be permitted to check in.

• Pre-Arrival Photo. Photo of your RV or trailer must be submitted to info@embershoals.com prior to arrival. A clear exterior shot showing the full unit is sufficient.

Vehicle & RV Washing

Vehicle and RV washing is not permitted on the property. This policy protects the White River from chemical runoff and preserves our water resources. Local self-serve wash facilities are available in the Cotter and Bull Shoals area.

Key Property Rules

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of neighboring guests.

Firearms must comply with all applicable Arkansas state and local laws. Open display of firearms is prohibited. Discharge of any firearm on property is prohibited.

Fireworks and pyrotechnics of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property.

Campfires are permitted in designated fire rings only. Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving your site or retiring for the evening.

Speed limit within the property is 5 mph.

Rear patios and slide-outs may only be extended on Riverfront sites (sites 1-15).

Trash & Waste

Please place tied trash bags in the dumpster located at the south end of the property. The dumpster has six access openings — please distribute waste across available openings rather than concentrating at the front door.

Do not place trash in office or common area trash cans.

Riverfront Trash Service

Guests staying in Riverfront sites (sites 1-17) may take advantage of our complimentary morning trash service. Place tied trash bags curbside at your site before 9:00 AM and our maintenance team will collect and deliver them to the dumpster on their morning round. This service runs daily during the regular season.

Facilities

Laundry, restroom, and shower facilities are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please help us keep them clean. If facilities require attention, please notify the front desk.
