New Cabins Now Booking: A First Look

Our new cabins are online… and guess what? You can book them today!

We have been working on these since early spring. Framing through the summer heat, finish work in August, final walkthroughs last week. They are done, they are listed, and the calendar is LIVE.

Here is what is behind the doors.

What is new at Ember Shoals?

Eleven cabins are now available on the White River in Cotter, Arkansas, just below Bull Shoals Dam. They sit on the same stretch of water our guests have fished for years.

The rest of the property has not changed. Riverside sites, the fly shop, the boat ramp, the guides who know this water. The cabins add room for people who want a roof, a kitchen, and a hot shower at the end of a long float.

Which cabins are available?

Eleven cabins across three layouts. They sleep four to eight people.

Riverfront park models. Two bedrooms, closest to the water. These are the units to book if you want the river out the window and the shortest possible walk to it.

Parkview lodges, two bedroom plus loft. The most space on the property. Two bedrooms with a loft above, which handles a larger group or a family without anyone drawing the couch.

Parkview lodges, one bedroom plus loft. Right-sized for two to four anglers. The loft sleeps the extra rod or the kids.

What is inside?‍ ‍

Full kitchens with cookware. Cook what you caught, or cook what you brought.

Comfortable beds, premium fixtures, and furnishings we picked to hold up to waders and wet dogs without feeling like it. Wi-Fi and TV are included in every unit.

Covered porches with seating. Most mornings on this river start with fog on the water, and the porch is the best seat for it.

How close are the cabins to the water?

Steps. You can walk from the porch to the bank and wade in.

That matters more than you might think! When the generation schedule shifts and the fish move, the difference between a fifteen minute drive and a walk across the grass is a morning of fishing.

It also means you can fish before coffee, come back for breakfast, and go again. Guests running their own boat can launch on site.

When should I book?

The sooner the better! Especially if you are planning around the summer or fall seasons. ‍

The October and November spawning run is the busiest stretch of our year. There are 11 new cabins on the entire property. Repeat guests have been asking about these since we broke ground, and weekends in that window will go first.

If your dates are flexible, midweek is the best to beat the crowds.
