A Place With History

Long before it was Ember Shoals, this stretch of the White River had a name most north Arkansas regulars know well — Denton Ferry RV Park. For years, anglers and families made their way down to this bend in the river, set up camp, and let the White River do what it does best.

The fishing was good.
The people were good.
And the river, as always, was great.

That history matters to us.

We didn't come here to start from scratch — we came here to build on something that already had roots.

New Owners. Same River.

When we took over this property, we saw what it could become. Not just a place to park an RV or sleep for the night, but a genuine destination — somewhere people choose intentionally, return to loyally, and talk about long after they leave.

We wanted to breathe new life into this land. To celebrate everything that makes the White River and the Arkansas Ozarks worth the drive. The cold, clear tailwater below Bull Shoals Dam. The brown trout that have made Cotter famous. The mornings that start before sunrise and the fires that go late into the night.

Most of all, we wanted to build a place where anglers and families make memories that last — the kind you talk about at the dinner table years later, or pass down to the next generation with a fly rod in their hands.

Blood, Sweat, and Gratitude

We won't pretend this has been easy. Building something worth being proud of rarely is. We've put everything we have into this property — long days, hard decisions, and more than a few moments of just figuring it out as we go.

But we're grateful. Deeply grateful. For every past guest who believed in this place before the paint was dry. For the community in Cotter that welcomed us. For the river that has been here long before us and will be here long after.

What you see today is the result of a lot of people caring — and we don't take that lightly.

The Best is Yet to Come

Ember Shoals is still becoming what it's meant to be. We're growing, improving, and adding to the experience with every season. Phase by phase, we're building something we're proud to put our name on.

If you've been here before thank you. You're part of the story.

If you're new to the river, welcome. We think you're going to love it here.

Come find out why they call it Trout Capital, U.S.A.
